So many dreams the past few days, last night's was I was knitting a sweater but I did it weird. I knitted a huge long strip that I then folded in half and that was my arms, I then knitted the body and attached it to the arms. Started with a cup of coffee and an English muffin, then off to the beach. James came down with us as well as Cecily and Michele. The water was very cold but we got used to it fast. The sea was calm and warm-ish. We could see to the bottom. Michele and I were out for about an hour, just bobbing in the ocean. There were lots of little fishes swimming around but no jellyfish. Some shells were found but I'm trying to curb my shell collections as I have pounds at home from previous trips ( Read more... )

We made it on the new rim/tire to the beach with no problem. Traffic was a breeze and we got to Wendys for lunch before the HUGE lunch rush. Everything was great. We were able to get into the house early but they were still cleaning up from the last family that was here. We all took some stuff in and then walked to the beach ( Read more... )

So, our tire has been thumping for a few days. It really sounded like it was rubbing on something. I looked but did not see anything happening. About an hour from DC, while doing 65, as I learned later, our tire fell off. All of the nuts were gone. We had no idea how that happened. We decided to come early to beach week via DC this year. James' sister lives in DC and we gracelessly taken in for almost a week. We arrived on Saturday and took it easy that night.
