One of my friends passed away today. Even though I met him twice I still considered him one of my friends. He was always sweet and happy when I met him. I enjoyed being around him. He was very funny and could always make me laugh. I wish that I could have known him for a longer period of time. I can't believe he is gone. I just saw him last

I wish I could have broke the news to you a little easier, but at the time I really didn't know what to say. It took an hour or so to really make sense to me. I didn't cry until later when I had to explain what happened to James. Then it hit me.

Charlie was one of those wonderful people that welcomed one from first meeting. That one could feel comfortable with and call friend without knowing much about one another.
