Why do schools usually not let their students wear hats? :o Do they think they'll put little CB radios in them or something...?

I mean, I don't wear hats anyway, but still. I think it's a stupid rule, and I don't see how hats can offend anyone.

I kinda stumbled upon this so I hope you don't mind me posting. I think schools consider hat-wearing to be disrespectful. It might have something to do with either hats making a student seem as if they are not serious about their work, or it might be "distracting." I know it's some dumb reason like that.

It's fine, I don't mind your posting. :D; And you're an Ayame fan too! Awesome.

I guess so... A pencil could be distracting occasionally, though. :O

It dates back to pre-schooling times XD Well, I'm pretty sure they had schools. But they were only for the rich. But anyway, it's disrespectful, or something, because alllllll the way back then, people weren't allowed to wear hats. :D I don't know why. Rosie Posie's probably right, it just doesn't look serious or something. But yeah. Stupid rule... >__>;

Oh, and I heard that my state recently passed a law making you take your hats off in public buildings. o_o;; So it's not just schools anymore... Stupid!

I go to a Catholic school. Here, we can't wear hats inside the school, because it shows a sort of disrespect to God, or so I'm told. You know, kind of like how it's disrespectful to wear a hat during the national anthem, and everyone takes off their hats then. <.

Ah... I can see why that is with religious people, now that you say that. I didn't see it that way.
