Brewing Beer

Jesse and I are brewing beer!  An American Pale Ale.  We had to boil these grains and malt extract and hops all this other stuff.  When the grains and malt were cooking the house smelled like warm bread.  I wanted to bathe in the liquid.  But once we added the hops, the house smelled like stale, wet, pot. Ewies

My dad made beer once. He used too much yeast and the beer would shoot out of the top of the bottles like they'd been shaken, even when they'd been sitting still for days.

Hopefully yours turn out much better! :)

We used a kit from this beer making store that has all the different ingredients already measured out for you. So hopefully by the time we bottle them the yeast will have calmed down a bit and not explode. :)
