Wonderfalls

Less than 1 week until the DVDs come out.

For anyone who watched Freaks and Geeks, Firefly or Dead Like Me...this show is a must see. The creators are Bryan Fuller (“Star Trek: Voyager”) and Todd Holland (“Malcolm in the Middle”). Here's a bit of the article recently posted...

I like that Wonderfalls was just one of those surprising shows. It gets announced after Joan of Arcadia started getting massive press and it was regarded as a semi-rip-off. Granted, it might have been conceived as such but somewhere along the line it transformed into a wonderful show.

Sometimes I wish American broadcasting would know when to shut down. Britain makes "series" which are essentially one season and if they feel the show deserves another go after the first one, they do it. If there's not enough material then they don't. None of this "We gotta get to 100 episodes/the 5th season so we can get our lucrative syndication rights!!!" nonsense. For this reason I figure it's almost better to have our great shows (Freaks & Geeks, My So Called Life, and Wonderfalls among them) only last as long as they did. They weren't tainted by a downfall of quality due to going past their prime. Look at Ed (my favorite show a while back) and Northen Exposure.

Sorry. Kinda spouted a bit much.

i agree with you... and anyone who has watched the shows (wonderfalls and joan of arcadia) will see that there is a distinct difference between the two. The problem with wonderfalls was that they (FOX) were not interested in pushing a little show like this, they wanted something that was just like everything else. Like the article said, it's hard to believe that North Shore made it longer than Wonderfalls (when it's such a horrible sho - And I like the OC, so that's saying a lot), but North Shore fit the norm and into the little genre that FOX is trying to bleed to death ( ... )

I wathed the first couple of episodes then it vanished! I couldn't figure out what time-slot they moved it too... I really loved it, and yes, it had that "Dead Like Me" charm that I really loved!

I must have the DVD!!!

It's going to be great... they only aired 4 episodes so there are 9 left to watch!
