I use Comcast in Alameda and I'm very happy with it.

There may be different companies in Colorado though.

do you use comcast for internet and tv? they are kind of expensive, don't you think? comcast is running a special right now for a free motorola modem (i gotta submit and receipts and stuff though after that).

what do your monthly bills run?

what are your thoughts on that or should i just lease a modem?

I just lease mine, Comcast has specials from time to time, but I wouldn't be surprised if you can get a better deal with DSL.
