Ooh! I forgot to mention that there is a Frida exhibit at the SF MOMA that I am going to this month. :)

Yes, she is a religion for me.
It has not stopped since I first saw her work.

I have a bunch of friends that went to see it over Pride weekend.

but seriously, I scoff at the 15 minute intervals. I know that it would be a clusterfuck of people if this wasn't in effect but damn! that makes me mad.

JUST THE SAME I'M JEALOUS!!! I hope you have a faaaabulous time!

Yeah, when it comes to huge art shows like that, they have to control the crowds somehow. Oh well :/

I am still excited. I will write about it as soon as I go! :)
I don't know why I don't have a Frida icon.

I know they have to control the crowds, I'd be pissed if I had all the time in the world and also half of the world in there with me while I'm trying to get my eyes filled with my goddess Frida.

You should be excited, it's big! Very big!

I saw an exhibition in Cleveland like ten years ago (Diego's) and I must confess I cried when I saw his work. I did. I don't know why, I'm not particularly fond of El Panzon but I was moved. He was an ass, a huge pompous ass, who stunted the growth of art in Mexico in his time, overshadowed his more talented contemporaries and that includes Frida too.

But I was moved. I can't lie.

OH AAAAND there was no time limit on Diego! hah! it was popular but not thaaaat popular!
