I agree with dastardlybard that the party should be rescheduled. I think that the date should be determined after the track of the storm is clear and any damages assessed. For some of you this gives you plenty of time to work out those birthday present ideas or purchases. Be careful and safe... and does anyone know who is in charge of canceling classes and when

as of 12:30 today they were cancelled. No classes tomorrow. I guess we resume friday after damages have been assessed.

Hopefully there won't be much damage in Lafayette. I'm really hoping for the best for all of you down there.
