i have acquired steve's parents old computer. they stopped using it after a strange smell, they said smoke or burning, was coming out the tower a little while (couple weeks or months??) after replacing the power supply. yes, the smell definitely comes from the power supply, but there is no smoke and all air output is cold or cool to the touch. to ( Read more... )

I didn't know that my newer scanner came with all the software to direct scan text into MS Word. I probably just saved myself a weeks worth of work making a prompt script. All I had to do is spotcheck for improperly scanned letters, missed letters, or misplaced lines. Then I formated it as I pleased. I almost enjoyed that!

I just released Kit from the rag rug that he had been eating and had managed to get tangled like a noose around his neck. He is lucky I found him before it ever got tight. He was walking in the kitchen draging it behind him.
