Each city has their different smells and sights. Everyone who has visited different cities know this. But it is interesting that two cities that are divided only by a little bit of ocean can be completely different ( Read more... )

Thanks! I did get a bachelor of arts in English, so I think all those classes for writing must have helped somehow. :) Seriously, I'm all right. I think there are other, better writers. I mean, I was a little not there in this post...

Isn't that how it normally goes? You're not all there and boom! Something is written. And "better" is all relative.

Well, it always helps to have breakdowns and depressions to get the creative juices going.

But then I had a professor in my Fiction class tell me that it should never be the case. Of course, make notes when you have moments but always make sure that you can write when you are not in those states.

But then again, have you ever met a happy, all-there writer?

I don't think you have too. Last time I checked, the only requirements were a basic ability to skate and the ownership of fishnet stockings and hot-pants.

lol, maybe. I was thinking of becoming a writer, but then I just decided that I'm not artistic enough. I have met much more talented writers than me. Trust me, I'm just a hack compared to others. :)

Lack of talent is easily compensated with a drug/booze habit. Pick you poison and you'll be on your (self-destructive) way to literary success!
