I am too.

But, you know what, I was listening to my Sirius radio and one DJ gave me an idea. He talked about how the community always takes a victim stance against the Religious Right, and how we should stop being victims. And it has stirred me. I don't want to be a victim anymore. I want to be on the offense, not the defense.

So, want to join me? Let's put a proposition on the ballot that either bans hetereosexual divorce or allow gay marriages. Let's contact our representatives that tell us that they are gay-friendly and put it to the test. Let's accumulate thousands of signatures like the Right to put something for us on the voting sheets. Let's stop being victims and become defenders for our rights.

Well, let's hope that maybe some good will come out of all this. Maybe we will win again in the courts and then it will be done. It will be over. We will have won.

But I really, really want to be on the offensive. Let's do something the Right would never even think that we would do. But then, maybe it would be better to go to the Supreme Court. Maybe then the fight will be done hopefully in our favor.

Hmmm, burn their women, rape their churches?

I think it'll definitely hit the Supreme court and then it'll be over. This whole thing is history repeating itself, and much like racial or gender equality, the homosexual community will be given its rights and still treated like shit.

It's fucked up. It's all really fucked up, but their problems are taught. They are not born discriminitory. Everything we do now is important, but not nearly as important as teaching our children and the youths in our lives that they cannot hate as people as hate now.

Education will save us and the ignorant will perish.

Yeah, I don't want to be like them.

Yeah, but the thing is that interracial marriage was not like this. It never yo-yoed like this. I'm wondering if history really is repeating itself. I think we are at a time where we are breaking new ground and have no idea how to handle it.

I'm not trying to disregard the issue of equality because you know I believe people should all be treated equal. We were all created in God's image - no one should be hated, disregarded or made to feel of a lesser person. But, this is where the Church stands on their arguement and this is why ( ... )

I guess I've never understood that concept, even in Bible class. I just thought it was hard to accept wholly what the Bible said when it was written by men, and men made errors. And then, how do you know which is more important to follow?

There is no correct justification for that at all. And it's hard to see.
