Anyone else just get hit by the crippling realisation that they have no idea what they want to do with their lives?

If you did, I have biscuits.

Frankly, no. And it's not the best of ideas to have too many biscuits this close to NEWTs, as they will make you sluggish. There, there; my research notes that it is not uncommon to be fearful before a major life change, or before a major examination.

If your research notes are complete than you also understand that putting yourself under excessive strain before a big event such as the NEWTs is practically inviting a nervous breakdown, correct?

I can handle the strain! Honestly.

You keep telling yourself that, Macmillan. I, on the other hand, will just have another biscuit.

Work of advice: don't go into the flying motorbike business. It's a rough crowd.

Flying motorbikes?

Who on earth would be silly enough to try that?

What an astute question.

... is this one of those times where my foot has somehow gotten in my mouth without my express consent?

You'll get over it. Don't go too hard on the biscuits, though, or else you can cross off 'modeling' and 'being beautiful' from the list of potential careers.

They've been off for awhile, sadly. I couldn't manage to delude myself into seeing that as plausible.
