hey guys...umm, i am writing this entry today, because something terrible has happened to one of my friends i knew back in middle school. his name is matthew sanchez. he plays football for our lady of mercy. on friday night's game, he was severe lytackled, and was laying on the field, unconcious for over an hour. he was airlifted off the field, and brought to the hospital. he broke his neck, and vertabrae, and was paralyzed. this morning matthew went into surgery, which lasted over 7 hours. he is now recovering in intensive care. matthew will be in the hospital most-likely for over a month...i've also heard that he will be in a wheelchair for about a year before he will be able to walk again. everyone, please keep him and his family in your prayers. even if you don't know him. matthew is a very kind, thoughtful, and smart person...i am planning on visiting him sometime next week, or whenever he is allowed visitors. please pray for them...thanks y'all
