So I went ot the post office today to use their ATM, because it has no ATM fees, and I told to give me $500. INSUFFICIENT FUNDS, it tells me. What? No freaking way. I try again and same result. Next I ask it for $200 instead, which it spits out readily. Ok, whatever

That's happened to me before. I know that for me, and actually a lot of banks, they don't allow more than $500 to be taken out in one day. And while you only requested 50000 yen, the exchange rate may have messed with that amount and it could have ended up being over $500 in the end, not letting you take it out.

Anyways, that's my story.

Ohhh... you know, I bet you're right. I took out 50,000 yen before but that was when the exchange rate was better, so it ended up being less than $500. I get it now. Thanks!
