There was no way in hell Toby was braving the weather outside any more than he absolutely had to. Even if he did actually own proper winter gear (which he didn't), it just wasn't gonna happen

It was cold out there, even if she wasn't a -- oh geez -- robin any more, but Stephanie had a routine to keep to if she didn't want the big Bat to come down on her like a ton of bricks, and no amount of Ice Age going on out there would keep her from avoiding that fate.
Still, on her way back to her cabin she couldn't help noticing the FREE CUPCAKES sign.
"Is there a magic word?" she called from the outside of the door. "To get the cupcakes, I mean?"
"Welllllllllll," Stephanie said thoughtfully. "'Abracadabra' is too obvious, so I'm going to go with 'Please, may I have a cupcake, and possibly get out of the cold for a few minutes too, pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaase?'"
"Welllllll," Toby drawled, imitating Stephanie's tone. "I wouldn't want you to freeze, so, yeah, I guess that'll do," he decided, getting up to open the door and practically drag her inside before shutting it again.
Look, it was nice and warm inside, he didn't want any of the cold getting in!
