Plato bores me so incredibly much. I cannot believe how much it bores me. I read the pages, and it just moves so damn slow. And I have to read some two hundred pages of him by Monday. Oh, happy day when I shall be free from the study of the humanities! And how I complain! And how unartful the complaint! Painful! Painful

To quote my friend John Bennett...well, wait, must give some background. Ok, this guy named Josh (he's more or less a dumbshit) posted this on the philosophy club forum: "This circles back to the introspective nightmare: how/should(?) you seperate your ideals from reality? Do you lose part of yourself if you erase your ideals or do you become more real because your "rearranged" ideal better suites reality? When and where do you compromise yourself in the world?"
To which John replied, "Simple... Shoot Plato."
Now, that wasn't his whole post. But I thought that was so fucking hilarious! I guess because it was (kind of) a serious conversation (meaning we weren't going out of our way to be stupid), and then he threw that in there. So it was funny.
