I went to see the new 'bromance' movie after work, today. I'd worked an extra two hours, and sat through one and a half hours of traffic to get there. Traffic was such that I arrived at the movie about fifteen minutes in. I'm only providing this preface, because of what I'm about to say about the film

We are men. We are expendable. We go to work and war and we die. We are not biologically connected to each other or our children. This ideology is flawed.
I know exactly what you mean: There have been a few men for whom I have a deep respect that I am not sure how to express and to which I cannot put words. The only thing I've been able to do is work for them with honor and trust, but I feel this is insufficient. It's not a love that is sexual, romantic, or debilitating, but one that warrants some emotional expression that might be considered inappropriate. It's complicated. We should talk about it sometime in a perfectly normal way.
