Heroes Episode 25-*jaw drop*
I have been a fan of Heroes from day one and have stuck with it through everything, but last night my love for the show died a big death. Not enough to get me to stop watching because there is still Peter to see to the end. I did want to warn you that this might not be as funny as normal due to my horror.
Writers what was this whole season about? You had the cast say time and time again that they need to be a family, not lie to each other, not point guns at each other and so on. But what do you do lie to both Peter and Claire again. This is not going to hit the fan later oh no. And Noah of all people should know better having been through this plot line for three seasons now, hell he lost his wife because of it.
Sylar/Claire was creepy, creepy, creepy and I am confused what power Sylar was using on her, Doyle's, Brian Davis's I have no idea and letting an underage girl drink on TV was bad form you guys are role models here come on. The big fight was a let down but given that this is Heroes no one should be surprised.
The little bit of Nathan/Peter we got was wonderful and I am pleased that Nathan's last words to a family member was "I love you." That was well done. But the death scenes of both Nathan and Sylar was not. I'm not saying I wanted long drawn out goodbyes but what I did want was Nathan to go out like the hero he became. This man saved the world twice and did his best to redeem himself this volume and he gets his throat silt and dies alone with no one he knows there to say goodbye.
Not only that he gets his brain downloaded like Echo into the man who had been trying to ruin him. That's what has me confused. Are Nathan's memories downloaded into Sylar's body as in they are just memories, or are Nathan and Sylar now sharing a body.
And speaking of bodies WHERE THE HELL DID NATHANS BODY GO ANGELA. I mean damm woman are you that cold that you have to shove your poor elder son in a hole to keep people in the dark. I love you to death Cristine Rose but fuck, Angela and Noah better go down pretty darn hard for the shit they just pulled.
I choose to believe Nathan is currently in cold storage ala Walt Disney because to have the Heroes leader and sounding board dumped in a unnamed grave with nothing to mark it of major fail or big red herring. I thought the whole point of this arc was for Nathan to redeem himself before he died not to turn him into Kenny from South Park....again.
Hell James the shape shifter got a Jedi send off why couldn't Peter have been allowed to mourn his brother/lover a little while. One of the few reasons I plan on watching Season 4 is to see Peter find out the truth with Claire and see both of them kick certain asses to the curb for what happened to Nathan.
Don't care about Matt's agnsting for once because he was a moron for caving to do what Angela wanted, Hiro and Ando are off to Tokyo were Hiro's illness will fall into a plot hole and Tracy I guess is bad again, which makes me go meh Hydro Man still did it better.
To end, I adore Zach Q to death and all but giving him an out while kicking Adrian Padsar up the ass was not cool. Nathan better either get his body back or get a decent send off if Zach returns, because the poor man is due, he really is due.
