Fandom
Camulus and Orlin are both from Stargate SG-1, minor characters who were in three episodes each. Camulus was in "New Order" Parts I & II and "Zero Hour", and is played by Steve Bacic. Orlin appeared in "Ascension" and "The Fourth Horseman" Parts I & II, played by Sean Patrick Flannery in the former and Cameron Bright in the latter, as he was actually a child.

Camulus is a Goa'uld, one of the race of evil parasitical aliens who set themselves up as gods on old Earth. Camulus or Camulos was a Celtic god of war (look him up in any good mythology book). He's evil. Or at least, he tries to be. He's arrogant and self-important and eternally grumpy.

Orlin is an Ancient, one of the race of generally good guys who built the Stargates and helped humans along. He ascended to a higher plane of existence, but descended a couple of times when necessary. Like now. He's eternally cheerful and is like an uber-MacGyver. He made an emerald out of a microwave, and parts of a toaster to build a Stargate in Sam's basement.

Our Canon
Camulus and Orlin were both in play at Fandom High and developed some canon of their own, relevant points to be discussed here. First, obviously, they fell in love.

Orlin is bouncy and has a predilection for mac'n'cheese, chocolate, and dragging Camulus out into public. Camulus just scowls. A lot. They have a wee cute bilingual (in English and Gaelic) kitten named Scathadh (pronounced 'Ska-haug') after the ancient Xena-like warrior-queen of Skye. She wants to be a ninja when she grows up.

I invented a host for Camulus. Since a Goa'uld is actually a parasite about a foot long, the body that walks and talks for him isn't his own. There's no information on the host in the series, but as Kawalsky said, "Probably just some poor sucker who looked good in a kilt." That poor sucker was a womanising bard named Mochta Mor, or Big Mochta. He has some dim awareness of what's going on and I occasionally trot him out when I'm particularily bored. He was a master flirt and conned women into his bed like mad. He's also completely straight and has no interest in Orlin, although he does find the relationship between Orlin and his god ridiculously adorable and often spends hours composing ballads and songs about it. Mostly to irritate Camulus.

Camulus left Fandom because Ba'al blackmailed him into doing so and became a high-powered businessman in Ba'al's Earth company, Farrow-Marshall. Orlin came looking for him.

Ph34r teh Muns
Camulus is played by me, Denise, who you may also know as Pol- and Ivanova-mun, and Orlin is played by Em, also known as Georges- and Fred-mun. Come September, we'll be living together. This is generally terrifying for both us and others. A typical interaction last year went along the lines of:

Denise: Em, clean the frying pan!
Em: I don't want to!
Denise: Fine! No sex for Orlin!
Em: Ack! I'll do it!

Sisters? We're close. As such, we have full modding privledges over each other. So if you see Orlin posting about ducking a swipe that I hadn't yet written as being delivered it's all shiny.

Also? Em has real problems saying their names, especially when she's been drinking. Hence, we tend to refer to them as a single unit, Ormulus or Camulin.
