[Well, my explorations during the previous curse proved to be rather fruitless. Everything in the City was as it would've been had everyone else been in it. I suppose I underestimated the sheer powers at work to make the curses happen ( Read more... )

It would have been a better trick if they'd left you visible and audible to this world while your existence was in another. I don't think they were trying to be so impressive, though.

[Not in the least, barring that last curse. And that's probably due to the nature of this place, it does make communication a bit harder at times.

Well, yesterday was its own set of circumstances that I cannot fully wrap my head around at present.

I'm not even certain that I could generally say that communication is more difficult here, simply chaotic and inconsistent. Perhaps it's simply that I haven't gotten the hang of these devices, though.

It seems to be dominated by people from Earth, for the most part, if I'm not mistaken. So it's not as though I can even dress normally without getting strange looks.
