When did I start to have so many people that I rely on? I used to do everything by myself, always by myself. I was fine with it. I could go where I wanted and do what I wanted. If anyone's a good leader, it's you, Haruhi. You've got enough imagination to rival even the Doctor's adventures, and you've got the will to carry those ideas out. A creative leader's all any club could ask for, after all - nobody could ever say life with you was boring.

Besides, since when were you a damsel in distress? I think you've pretty much proved that false several times over, now.

So then what is? Everyone alive needs saving sometimes, you know, it comes with being human. It doesn't make you any less of a strong leader, and it doesn't make you a burden.

Getting rid of wanting them.

If I didn't actually like them I suppose I could actually get rid of them, but I don't tend to call people I don't like my friends.

I never wanted them, it just happened.

There's nothing wrong with relying on people. And, if they care about you, they won't hold you down or keep you from doing what you want if you want to search out new things by yourself.
