More doctors in the last few days, more trauma. Details for those who are curious about anaesthetists, opticians and hairdressers under the cut.

Woe is me! )

*sniffle* I had resolved to keep my hair up until I could bear to let others see it out, but then I realized that it was giving me headaches to have it weighing on the back of my head. SO i take it out when no one can see it... Ah well, hopefully I'll get over the horror and shame soon. Love, Zoe

Well, I'm keeping it up, and that means I can forget about it sometimes. Not often, though! Love, Zoe

Yeah, I avoid opticians too, on the assumption that, even if my eyesight hasn't changed, they're still going to be all sadistic and give me eye drops. Eurgh. As for contacts - I did ask the guy this time, and he said that he's disrecommend them until my sight settled and stopped changing so drastically. Also, that I'd have a difficult time trying to find them with the corrections I need. He seemed strongly in favour of me keeping glasses, so I decided to follow my inclinations and obey him ( ... )

I'm in Canada at the moment with very little time alone, but when I get some time I'll answer your email - thank you for caring!

Honestly, theres no rush. Its good to know you are over in Canada and your Mum is there too. Hopefully it'll help resolve matters. I hope you are having a good time, and you get to enjoy the sights.

As for thanking me for caring, honestly you don't need to thank me for that.

It has helped somewhat, though not as much as I'd hoped. The number of "talks" where my mum has said it's not what she'd choose for my sister, etc etc... Sigh. But seeing my sister so happy has given me some perspective on the situation, so that's good.

And I still appreciate your kindness!
