Interesting... for Asnacs, that is...

I think it might take me a while to stop laughing. Not exactly the reaction I was expecting from leafing through my wondrous new books for proofreading, and especially odd considering that I was looking through the Encyclopedia (Cambridge Encyclopedia of the English Language, to be precise ( Read more... )

Well you lost me somewhat. Actually you've completely lost me, but that is easy these days. Hope things are ok with you, haven't heard from you for quite some time.

Sorry - just reread the entry and it was a little confused. Basically, I'm half amused and half appalled at the fact that people just assume things about "my" period of history without any discussion of the problems ( ... )

Hugs are most useful right now. I'm currently not my usual self, though I am starting to feel a little better from time to time.

Not having your own private space is not good, hence why I can't cope with living at home anymore because my old room is more a sort of general clothing sotre room now and so my mum just wanders in and out when she needs stuff. Living away from home is so much better. Shame that parents don't seem to think about the fact that you need private time to reply to peoples email/comments even if it isn't really a private message.

Glad you're starting to come out of the slump - I can keep sending hugs, though! Sounded like you've been going through some tough times, and unfortunately, life just doesn't wait for people to get through their issues before making them get on with their lives. It's not fair dammit!

Yeah. No space is very harsh. I got used to being able to hole up in my room in College for several days at a time, not talking to anyone at all for those days, and now I'm not even left alone when I'm in the bath, or sleeping. (TMI, I know, but my mother has left the house for fifteen minutes, and I really need to whine...)

Argh. And I can't get my own place at the moment because I can't walk around, so no job, so no income. Bleah.

Oh well. Sucks to be us! *hugs*

I understand the withdrawal symptoms - I thought I was doing fine until I saw that one sentence, and whem! Here I am white hot with rage and ready to debate. Heh. Simon would be proud.

And I'm not bad - not terribly good, as I have no private time, and feeling a little claustrophobic, but my ankle's healing, so all's well!
