On to the rest of the impressions.
The relationships. Bill/Fleur worked for me, and I got annoyed with all the females being pissy about Fleur - yes, she's beautiful and the guys all fall over themselves around her, and she might be a bit wearing (though we weren't given much of a chance to see any part of her personality), but there's no cause to be hating her and calling her Phlegm. That really narked me. So, yeah; I like that ship.
Ron/Lavender. I bought that Ron wanted some experience, and that he wanted to make Hermione jealous; also bought his whole ducking out of the relationship by forcing Lavender to do his dirty work. I bought it, but I so didn't like it. It just served to underline my dislike of dear Ronald. After all, he's basically using Lavender, when she has real feelings (maybe) for him.
By the same token, I dislike Hermione's bid for jealousy, though I sympathize a hell of a lot more with her. ;-) I am not impartial. This is not news to anyone, I hope.
Ron/Hermione. It's proceeding as expected, basically, and I like their relationship/friendship. I always have.
Harry/Ginny. Ick. Just - ick. Along with the whole noble thing at the end. Though what really annoyed me about that was the fact that both Dumbledore and Ginny seem to have seen in Harry a lust for the hunt that really, I've only ever seen when he thought Sirius had betrayed his parents. I've never felt that from Harry as regards Voldermort. And I do not buy that Ginny would give up so easily, not the new, personality-laden her.
Remus/Tonks. Ick to the power of infinity. No words to describe my utter non-buying of this. No. Words. (Pink hair at the funeral? ick!)
On to the other relationships. You know, the non-canon (nor likely to be, unfortunately) ones.
Harry/Draco. I see my ship sailing happily along for many glorious fics. ;-) It's practically canon! The number of times it's mentioned that Harry is "obsessed", and his utter focus on Draco to the exclusion of everything else... I love it! And with the weeping! And the unable-to-commit-murder Draco! Yay! *loves on the HD*
Snape/Draco. Yay! Yay!!! Again, there will be squeeing into the night about this. Soooo canon, even to the running off together for a life of sin. Maybe. *bounces insanely*
Snape/Harry. I'm not a 'shipper, but I can see this. Lots and lots of finding Snape and discovering that he's good - or bad, either way, lots and lots of angry UST to work with here.
Snape/Dumbledore. Well, it's dead *now*. Though, as someone astutely pointed out on hbp_chapters, Sirius is still written into fics. But all those comments on Snape's reliability, on only calling Severus, the fact that Snape was the one to heal Dumbledore's hand... Snape's overreaction to being called a coward by Harry after having killed Dumbledore? (Yes, I call it an overreaction, because nothing has given me cause to think that Snape would, in his right mind, lift a hand against a student.) Yeah, those are pretty powerful hints.
Snape/Lupin. Kind of fizzled out here, didn't it? What with the courteous indifference and all. *sigh* And I liked this ship, too. I hope someone will write a really good story selling me on it again.
I loathe the very idea, the very thought makes me cringe, but, well, what can a poor girl do? Pettigrew/Snape. Somebody save me. Please?
And that's all for tonight, folks.
