[OOC] Ping Post

Here's me trying to keep this simple: Poseidon is a God! More specifically, he is the Greek God who holds dominion over the sea, including all the good stuff that falls in between. Here is one thing I'm asking: If your character is somehow STRONGLY associated with water (manipulate it, your bff is the ocean and you sail it, etc.) PLEASE COMMENT. ( Read more... )

ooc, info

Laurence was a Navy captain and fanboys the sea so yeah. and Sweden is, well, Sweden, HE HAS LOTS OF COAST AND LOL VIKINGS SO ??? None of mine are really... spiritually sensitive but Sweden's a country so he might be pinged by Poseidon in return. Even if you're from Greek and not Norse mythology. :|||

Also derp I should read the other questions. Honlon, Nyanko, and Ashton's dragons can strongly sense godhood! o/ They can all be fooled, though, if Poseidon makes an attempt to hide it or himself.

Sera's element is ice, and her other form Varnani is kind of a Hindu goddess strongly associated with water.

I don't think Littlefoot or Lien apply!

Percival has a Flowing rune attached to his right hand, which lets him use water-based magic. Also, if I remember correctly, Suiko-verse runes are pieces of True Runes, which in turn are... godlike entities of sorts? So. He more or less has a part of a water god in his hand. Or something. :|a

Also, he's pretty famous back home for his horsemanship, if... that pings Poseidon at all. Percy has no spiritual sensitivity though!

....man, I was about to comment with something before I realized that oh yeah, I have the actual Suikoden encyclopedia and could look it up. |D;;

IT SAYS that the regular runes are fragments of the True Runes, yeah, but that there's a huuuuge difference in power, so it's something like... if a True Rune were a tree, then regular runes would be broken off twigs and things. I think. Something like that.

Haha! But it's still a piece! However small it may be.;;

Also, there is a Suikoden encylopedia? O___O W-what is this nonsense!?

Yeah, it just doesn't get all the fun crazy powers an ACTUAL True Rune does.

And there is! But it's only in Japanese. And only actually covers up through the gaidens. :< THERE IS ANOTHER BOOK that has profiles and some world info up through V buuut isn't actually a complete proper encyclopedia. I've been meaning to translate a lot of stuff from it, but then I'm lazy and/or get sidetracked. |D;;
