[ I. Route 30 ☼ Video ]
Lunchtime [ The video feed blips on and immediately you see from a bird's eye view from about twenty feet up of a patchy forest, the roof of a house and a brown-haired teenager shouting, chasing the camera. Talons grip around the edge of the screen. ] Swablu! Come back here! That is not a toy!

[ The video swivels and you can see puffy white cloud/wings flapping and the round chest of Swablu, headed straight towards a tree. ] Swablu! No! You'll break it! Come ba--. [ The PokéGear camera flies into the tree with a loud crash. The video cuts out. ]
[ A half hour later, the video blips back on with Keima in focus and a familiar round, blue ball-shaped Swablu sitting on his head. His talons have a nearly equally big Leppa berry in its grasp and the bird Pokémon is just chowing down. Calling it a berry would be misleading. It looks like a huge melon. Nevertheless, Keima's head is weighed down! ]
... It appears I'm having issues with Pokémon obedience. My Swablu listens for the most part. But ever since I've introduced him to berries, he has become a bit of a brat. He--HEEEEYAAAAAAAAAH STOP IT SWABLU--
[ Keima drops the PokéGear as you see one of Swablu's talons let go of the berry and dig painfully into the trainer's head. The 'gear is on its side, on the grass, and you can see a Psyduck, a Hoppip, and a Spinarak all peacefully enjoying a lunch of berries while Keima is screaming, running around in the background. Someone has been a busy trainer! ]
[ II. Violet City >> Video ]
Forward-dated to Friday, July 22 - Late Night
[ The video blips on. It's very dark, but from the glow of the PokéGear you see Keima with a determined yet fatigued look on his face. He looks like he's been through a lot of wear and tear but he is giving the camera a big smirk. Swablu's on his head, again, but the bird looks pretty pooped too. ]
Fu fu fu!~ Violet City... To your displeasure Haqua I've aced the trials from Routes 29 and 30 and have made it here in record time!
[ As Keima continues to walk, there is more ambient lighting. He passes a sign welcoming travelers to Violet City. ]
Now... The Capturing God... shall continue... with...
[ The video suddenly tumbles from Keima's hand and bounces on the hard-packed dirt road. Keima collapses right in front, falling face-first into the road. Swablu gently lands moments later on Keima's head, then pecks softly at his Master's head. ]
