8-bit would be easier to navigate.

An 8-bit world would simplify everything and make the world far easier to maneuver through, but I don't think I'm ready to see other people as 8-bit avatars.

So you're okay as a chunky, clunky 8-bit pile of colored dots? There are other visually appealing mediums for Players.

It would be creepy, but you'd have to get used to it whether you like it or not. It doesn't make that much of a difference.
