I liked the comic strip very much in that some one knew people were going to see what they do and they used it for something with meaning
I remember seeing that in your profile and I started following the comic a week lator.
youth hostels? if you can find one they are about 12 bucks a night or so, I beleive thats how much it was in chicago. They are pretty much shit holes but eh, it happens

Oooo I'm excited I made another Pearls Before Swine fan! As for hostels, the ones Shawn and I have found are upwards of $25 per night per person. I guess these New Englanders think their hostels are hot stuff...

Alo lovely,
I am in Rome. Today I went to the Botanical Gardens and sat in a makeshift Bamboo Forest. Tomorrow to the Galleria Borghese, and on Tuesday, it means Tennessee. sadness, but I miss you. I can only write quick, but as far as Boston, you can assuredly stay with Lindsay Turner, the Harvard gal who is staying over the summer as a travel guide editor. But besides that, the cardboard box plan has worked for many a genius/poet/deadbeat like yourself and Rosie. I must be off now, meeting the Roman god of Love tonight on the Spanish steps hopefully.

Paul,
I am sad for you that your trip is ending, but happy because that means I will be able to talk with you whenever I'd like again. I miss you.
About Boston, have you asked Lindsay about this? I tried to look up her email address, but she's not listed in the Harvard directory and I haven't seen her online lately. It would be very helpful if we could stay with her, but I need to talk with her about it ASAP.
Also, I didn't realize you'd be back in Tennessee as soon as Tuesday. You should come up to Boston or NYC...

I love the poem you wrote.
And in NY, you could ask the homeless people where they sleep maybe?
I love the book Illusions, and I hope you have fun on the east coast beautiful.

I'm really glad I make you happy.
I will look into the NYC homeless situation.
Thanks for lending me the book. I have started quoting it to my friends now, too, and telling them to read it. And I'm glad you enjoyed "On the Road."
