Their parliament voted to approve same-sex marriage legislation across the country. It was already legalized in most of the provinces, but this makes it official for all of Canada.

belgium and the netherlands

Belgium and the Netherlands are the only other countries that have passed national legislation on it. I'm not sure what the situation in Spain is.
