A few weeks ago I was driving through the New Forest and happened upon this happy family:

While the pigs are adorable, what I'm most marveling at is how perfectly the pics coordinate with your journal. Are you sure you don't want to have a pig banner? Creatures Tonks would approve oinkily, you know.

LOL If I put little Christmas hats on the piggies, maybe it could be part of the festive layout I'm probably never going to get round to actually finishing?

Oh, they're adorable!

I have no appropraite animal icon, but this one has a paw print on it, lol.

They really are. You'll not find a happier pig than a New Forest pig, and they're so much fun to see like this.

I think the paw print icon is probably more post-appropriate than my pink darlek...

I just had to stop by and say Awww! You are right, there are not enough photos of cute piglets in the world. Thank you for adding these. I wish we had sweet, tame pigs like this in these parts. All we have are large, mean wild boars, who will kill and eat you if you get too close.

Thank you as well for the happy Thanksgiving! (I'm now feeling a bit guilty that I didn't make any post for Guy Fawkes day).

Well...they do say that the most dangerous place to be is between a Mother and her children (As Molly Weasley proves).Yes, my boyfriend lives on a ranch where those wild boars roam free. He claims that a herd of them chased his Uncle up a tree once. I've only seen them from a distance, but they are quite mean looking.

I didn't think there would be many 'happy' wishes for Guy Fawkes day, but as I hope to live in England someday, I should at least start comemorating the holidays.

If it happened now the only thing I'd be sorry to lose is a beautiful building, lol, though it is my second favourite building...

Bonfire night isn't a holiday, as such, it's just a normal day, if you can consider gunpowder charges going of left, right and centre to be normal... ;)

God, I love the New Forest. I've only been twice, but each time I loved it. It was so very beautiful and just a little bit unreal - like some kind of magical story where humans are somehow closer to the animals. Pictures like this one confirm it. :)

It's a very special place, indeed. My parents have lived on the edge of it for about eight years, and it doesn't become any less magical over time. The occasional rumblings about taking the animals off are always very worrying.

The only thing to be said here is: Awwww.

I like the new journal layout, too!

Thank you for the Thanksgiving wishes. I'm trying to get a full day of work in today and tomorrow so I can enjoy my turkey guilt-free on Thursday. (Along with making some progress on my current WIPs?)

I think 'awww' is about all I said for half an hour after I saw them. It sums it up pretty well. :)

Glad you like the layout. It's been up a while but I haven't done much posting for people to come and see it!

Good luck getting all your work done. I'm sure you could do with a nice relaxing day on Thursday, and I'm happy to hear your plans might involved a little ficcage! :D
