You're right in that you need to grieve a little every day, however part of that grieving should not be what you can't change. We all have choices that we make that make life a little more difficult, but you can't allow yourself to make it worse by dwelling on it. Grieve, be angry, cry, be sad, even scream if you need to...but do not regret. For regret is contempt for the past and it will drive us crazy because we can not change it. So give yourself time everyday to think about Richard, thank God for him, and talk to him. Remember Mary, if all that we invest as Christians is true, than both God AND Richard can hear you, and like me, they love you and are always there for you.
