I'm curious about this one. "Haute Tension" and "A L'intérieur" were highly efficient at generating this particular type of visceral pressure, despite some obvious flaws (the somewhat unnecessary twist ending in the former and some atrocious and superfluous CGI in the latter).

Frontières however was awful and no more interesting than any of the "supermarket bleak" horror movies of late, with its standard ochre palette, blaring soundtrack and character templates.

i've seen the movie some time ago. good film but it didn't meet the high expectations that the reviews i read had raised. have you seen it already? in my humble opinion frontières was quite ok. at least no standard twists or so (as fas as i can remember) like you describe of the others that can spoil a movie.
