why am i so damn selfish?

im not going to dallas. a pipe exploded in my cousin's house and their entire 1st floor is destroyed. its over 50 thousand dollars worth of damage. so that sucks. they're probably coming here in a day bc they cant stay at their house. tonight they're staying at a hotel

does insurance cover their damage?

i have no idea. they said something about premiums and 2% versus 10% something something...haha i dont know anything about how insurance works.

but i think they have a 2% premium except i dont know what that means. soooo if you understand - explain it to me.

i'm afraid i don't. although i looked it up, and it says

"The amount paid or payable, often in installments, for an insurance policy."

so they pay two percent of what they are covered for? that's pretty good. maybe if you pay less premiums you have more insurance?

to think we'll be living on our own next year. with our OWN insurance. it's nice to see we'll understand what we're doing, huh? haha
