It's that time on The Bachelor again....  the women, jealous because he's been paying more attention to some women than others (ie, them), start whining and complaining and throwing each other under the bus

I don't watch TV or reality TV, but I think there's some kind of systemic observational bias running through society in the sense that knowing that people (the TV viewing and/or online world) is watching changes behavior. I don't think anyone is behaving as they would away from the camera; they're all actors.

Great point!

Some of these shows make people live away from home with just the other contestants. I kind of think that they're able to rein it all in for about 4 or 5 weeks, but then they start to fray at the edges.
