today is memorial day...

this day really bothers me. not because i don't think that we should have it, but because people no longer remember why we have it. to most people it's a day off work, a day to have a cook out with family. they know that this day is a day to be grateful to still be close with their loved ones. but they don't know why. it's always been the tradition
