i understand the feeling. about it lasting continually - we'll always be messed up, so there will always be necessary changes, but some are more painful than others. but instead of thinking about how much the decision hurts, be glad that you are at that point and have the ability to go forward.
it's almost the exact opposite here - we aren't very connected and aren't involved in people's lives, and it's incredibly lame. i'm still trying to be positive about getting to know the church people, but the mrs. has basically given up. both of us are also feeling the post-college cluelessness - we're working adults with no long-term plans or goals. is this really the way it is supposed to be? life is more than work, but we don't have anything else going for us right now besides work.
