Well, imagine if we still had the friends?

People change. I was thinking that last night, and so I got in touch with someone I was incredibly close with once, and we haven't spoken in 6 years.

And things change because they have to, to make room for something better. Look at it that way :)

Did you ever think that maybe you CAN'T be friends anymore? It's possible. People change, some for better, others for worse, and sometimes that can put a rift in a friendship. *huggles* I know how ya feel, though...

I just had to comment on someone.

I have known Nate for about 16 years now. Him and I first met because I threw walnuts and hit him in the head. A week later, we were placed side-by-side in class, and have been friends ever since.

However, in Grade 8, a rift in our friendship caused what I believed to be a major mistake. Oh, well, people change, right?

We are now close friends again, and though we don't talk more than a couple of times a year, when we do, it's really good.

The point I'm trying to make is that if things are meant to work out, then they will. And yes, Ash is right; sometimes people change and you can't be friends anymore. but if they're worth being friends with and holding onto, then try your best. One of the qualities of true friendship is letting your friends change and still caring for them and such.

yea, I know. I don't think this person wants people to care though. Oh well, I've got wicked friends anyways. Thanks for the comment:)
