In regard to your question, because the Underworld itself is a part of and apart from all realities at the same time, we've decided it's acceptable for the character in game to, at times, sense the Bond, but it would be strange, distant, and as though something were interrupting it. This plays into the game mechanic that time flows differently in the Underworld than in the character's home world, and thus the Bond isn't always perceivable.
Playing it this way or as though the Bond was broken upon arrival is completely up to you! If you choose to have them sense the bond at times, that's perfectly fine!
We hope that answered your question and look forward to hearing from you soon!
It did answer the question, thank you for the prompt response~
Second annoying question that I have just now thought of:
This character employs a particular form of magic where he is able to draw energy from the inherent power of the intersection of what essentially amounts leylines to augment his own. He is capable of expending his own life-energy to cast spells, but drawing from the nodes keeps him from exhausting himself too soon. I realize this question is kind of out there, but would there be any such leylines or nodes that he would be able to sense, or is the area simply magically dead?
There are certainly leylines into which he could tap. Seeing as Hecate is the goddess of Magic and Crossroads, she would know someone was accessing the leylines. The option is there if you'd like to plot something with Hecate regarding accessing the leylines. It would actually be pretty cool.
