If you registered to vote, you can be called in for jury duty. I'm not sure how they select people after that, I think it's semi-random. Could be way off though.

Of course, you don't really know him, so the mistake is understandable.

actually, i was summoned for jury duty about a year and a half ago... i managed to get out of it, but i *was* selected... my mom was on jury duty once when i was a little kid too... having said all that, I think the process is about as random as BASIC's rand() function
