Jim Hawkins
So, let's start with Jim. Warning: I ramble a lot oh god why.
Their first meeting was awhile ago when Jim was testing his... flying board thingy. Mikuru was curious about it, so she agreed to help. After a few failed tries, they finally got the thing off the ground, and all was good. \o/
... Except they didn't talk again after that for a long time. And they probably wouldn't have run into each other again if it wasn't for the fact that Jim was really depressed over the Yukina and Kou thing. Mikuru instantly went "ohsnap I met him before," and went to see what was wrong. And then she attempted to cheer him up, which was a bit hard since lol didn't understand the entire problem. BUT. It sort of worked?! But they were still just people who talked two times, though. Not friends or anything.
Now THAT changed when Jim was getting drunk to calm his sorrows or something. They started talking about all kinds of stuff, like the SOS Brigade, Treasure Planet, the beach. And then that led to Jim saying that he can't swim. So Mikuru volunteered to teach him. After successfully getting Jim to not sink to the bottom of the ocean, the two both considered each other a friend, or around that time.
But, of course, nothing can go JUST AS PLANNED on the Island. Enter Suzumiya Haruhi, leader of the SOS Brigade. Who basically offered Mikuru to Jim for a night 'cause he let her ride his board thing. Jim was... very shocked. |D;; And Mikuru was horrified when he told her about it, but she hid that sorta well since she didn't want him to worry and she didn't want him to get Haruhi mad and make the world go splodey. It was a very awkward moment in their relationship, to say the least.
Their best moment...? It was either the swimming lesson or when the two of them went searching for ice cream. For the swimming, that was also when Jim realize that hey, this chick has boobs. oAo Which was extremely amusing since he almost drowned after finding that out lolol goog jorb Jim.
The ice cream hunt was... retardly adorable. They got insanely lost in like, five minutes. And then Mikuru got attacked by a squirrel. They spent a looong time trying to get it to let go of her face ohgod, and afterwards they had to give up on the ice cream to go get her checked at the clinic. BUT OF COURSE THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHERE THEY WERE. Once again, goog jorb guys. orz
Now, the worst moment... um. There really isn't any bad ones. But one that didn't really go so well was when Jim got, uh, jealous over Zelman. It was after the storm, and Jim was all "wait what who did you stay with again?" So Mikuru started telling him about Zelman and yeah. Didn't go so well. She had no idea why he suddenly seemed so sad, so she tried cheering him up. But that like... cheered him up AND depressed him at the same time jesus how did she do that. Anyway, not one of their best conversations.
So~ what she thinks of him. He's a really good friend. And that happened in just a week or two, too. They get along really well, and they get flustered a lot during their interactions and orz it's just cute. And even though Jim might be developing feelings for her I dunno, Mikuru is kinda... slow to realize that. Like, she hasn't noticed anything, and probably won't unless it gets extremely obvious. Because she's a loser. DX But, even if something like that happens to change their friendship, he'll always be one of her bff. Well, her bff that likes staring at her boobs anyway.
W-well, he's fun. She's comfortable with him, which is saying a lot 'cause she gets easily embarrassed and stuff around guys. So having a decent conversation with him without her having to freak out the smallest thing is an accomplishment. And she feels guilty about having to keep the whole time traveler thing a secret from him, since he told her about the map and everything. So, yeah, she feels bad about that.
And she wants to help repay him for all the help he gave her, too. But... she's not exactly sure how. He saved her from vicious animals (lol), agreed to fix up their hut, takes her on rides on the board thinger I swear I will remember its name one day. But when she thinks of something it'll be top secret, so haha. o/
... Oh and sorry she still hasn't decided on what to do, she's very indecisive about that sort of thing. D:
