I've kicked around wanting to do a resturaunt myself before. When I was in high school my dream idea was to open a comic book/gaming shop with a pizza place on the side. The only huge flaw I could find was people coming in with greasy fingers touching the merchandise, but that can really happen anywhere.

I've looked into Cuban food, and a lot of it looks hot. Hot as in good, since I know you are a fucking wussy and can't take heat in your food. That probably would be hard to do where you are though, since you already have 30 billion mom and pop cuban resturaunts. I don't want to be a system admin forever either :( Just move up here and we'll open up a bed and breakfast :trannie:

HEHE I wanted to run a video game store as well, but now its the most unprofitable business imaginable!

And as far as food is concerned: I was thinking of opening a Cuban bakery or a hot restaurant with unique creative food items.

I've had two dream jobs my whole life as well.

1. Be a psychologist/counselor/therapist. You know I love to talk about problems and "figure them out".

2. Be a writer of either stories about my life, poetry, funny books somewhat based on my life and the lives of my buddies, or self help books.

I have yet to give up, but the thought has crossed my mind that perhaps I'd be better at doing something else. Life is a crazy ride, so I'm just going to keep pushing and see what it allows of me. Maybe it knows something I don't that I'll love even more.

Yeah at one point I thought I wanted to write and create my own movies. I couldn't just WRITE a movie, I also had to direct it -- I really needed to see it made. I enjoyed doing that. I don't know why I just gave up on it.

Weird.

Well you could always do little short funny or whatever you want movies for fun and post them on youtube. Maybe someone important will see and like it, then who knows. If anything it could be fun.

My issue with that is that You Tube keeps rights to your work. I don't know if I would like that. I guess its the good ol' way for me!

Ive worked in a restaurant for 9 years now. Someday I too hope to open my own restaurant. Its quite an undertaking financially and mentally, but also can be quite fun.
