*after so very many days of a scrawny young boy with an English accent wandering around camp, a more familiar voice reaches Erik's mind*

[ he arrives at the barn first and is very still while he waits ]

*pulls open the door and maneuvers his way inside. then closes the door behind him.

it's a rather awkward process.*

[ he's motionless through this process, his arms crossed, containing a fair bit of anger. but there's also relief at seeing Charles's face again, and they both flare bright in his mind as he watches him come in.

the door may jump out of his hand slightly at the end there, shutting with a rather sharp noise in the space. ]

*displaying far less concern that any sane man probably should at being shut inside of an isolated building like so, he moves a little farther inside -- just far enough to be out of the way of the entrance, but not approaching Erik any closer than that -- and stops.*
