Also, I think it's really sweet you're trying to cheer up nine... most families don't seem to notice when a family member gets really dangerously down, and that's how tragedy happens. :( So it's good that you're aware so you can help him out.

Hi! Thanks for the welcome. You'll be pleased to know that GOES-N is doing very well in his integration and test sequence. You should be meeting him in about 10 more months.

I'm actually mostly working on the long-term architectural design for GOES-R, who won't be launched until 2012. It's going to be a while before you're greeting R. But I think that your brother 9 is going to be helpful in suggesting ideas for things we can give R to be better able to acheive some self-actualization. R is going to have plenty of smarts, and we don't want a depressed young genius.
