the skills to have avoided impact in this gladatorial arena is indeed a virtue to be praised. so often those who lead the charge and persevere on with a brazen, almost reckless, attitude are left with many a reddened patch of skin to show for it. but they say physical wounds heal. the fact that you have avoided this lends itself to reinforcing the power of the language/skill, when one chooses ones words/techniques properly then it is rare to be struck.
my flat has been empty for a year now, it often feels like I'm merely half a person. trying to become whole but failing. solitude is beautiful but it must be interweaved with contact, otherwise the ability to recognise its virtues is acquiesced into a constant focus on its vices. sometimes I long for any kind of human contact, and yet, this is merely a base yearning, because I know that any contact wouldn't satisfy my needs for more than a mere moment, which leads to a constant need for this kind of contact, which continues to escalate on a downward spiral of which a past liason of
