Okay, so I came across the poster for the movie adaption of The Plague Dogs.

WHY DOES IT LOOK SO GODDAMN INNOCENT. WHY.

At least the Watership Down poster had the good grace to have a blurb that's basically about how BUNNIES GONNA DIE IN THIS FILM, and to show a rabbit in agony due to being snared right there on the poster. The Plague Dogs one ( Read more... )

Oh I've seen the Plague dogs before, the cut version, and god that scene where a farmer shoots himself in the face by accident. :{

Never watched Plague Dogs, but now I'm figuring I probably shouldn't. XDD

I've had Miso once before. It's actually quite good. (can't vouch for the instant miso though. D:/ )

AND YAY. I'm NOT the only one with an instant gag reflex to seaweed! : D

If you got through the Watership Down film without freaking the fuck out, then you might like The Plague Dogs. But read the book first, because they cut out a whole and very large subplot with some reporter guy in the film.

I think some animation companies just get a sick kick out of traumatizing young children for life. XD And believe me, I bet no one paid attention to that poster because "AWW, CUTE BUNNIES ARE NEVER SCARY!".

Don Bluth also has a problem with this sort of thing. The Secret of NIMH DVD cover is extraordinarily bright and cheerful considering the movie contained within...
