jeez. I was only gone a few days but I just spent the last 45 minutes reading lj's. at least I was reading some good literature while procrastinating from hwork.
Friday- I arrived at Lihue airport and (after waiting) went to Border's where I met some of tesla's friends. subway for some din, and back to the Teitge pad for some hardcore pounce and story telling. looots of fun. tes and I stayed up late (we're such ragers.. I think we went to bad at 11 pm) talking and being drunk on life.
Saturday- After watching Center Stage we decided we're going to be ballerina's. Michelle, Tesla's really sweet friend came over and we packed the car and got ready for camping. we went and picked up Andrew who is (yay!) a Matrix freak like me. he reminds me remarkably of Tyner Pesch and all the other comm. school boys. like EXACTLY. anyway I loved him in that friendly way. we went to this place in Kapa'a and got really wonderful fruit things and went to this old vintage shop. they had prada bags there. oh my god I almost died. but I restrained and didn't spend $80 on one though let me tell you, I was tempted. we went to hanalei bay (where we camped) and jumped off the pier. it was so perfect when we got there.. SO beautiful. alan and brian showed up. they're both so cute and I can see why tesla is in love with both. brian is so funny and spastic. and allen is just such a gentleman and the most adorable boy EVER ("your beatiful"). that night we went into town for dinner and later went back to hanalei bay where we layed on blankets out on the pier and looked at stars. we saw the most insane shooting start ever. i can't even describe it, it was so weird and amazing.
Sunday- we woke up and went into town to rent surfboards from this cute little surf shop. when we went in we noticed the guy working was extremely attractive and then after hearing his name (evan) I realized he was the same guy we'd been swooning over when I went to visit tes freshman year. cr-azy. we got longboards and surfed ALL DAY. it was so fun. we're basically pro's. we were so "hxc" to the max. I'm officially addictd to surfing. it's so fun and when you get up on that wave it's like no other feeling I can describe. i just felt like I was conquering something and in a completely different element. wonderful. after some hardcore surfing all day we got subway for dinner and went home. we watched bend it like beckham (and realized we want to be soccer players as well as ballerina's). another night where we got drunk on life.
Monday- tes had rifelry so I stayed home and did ap us hist homework (kill me). when she got home we went to salt ponds for some swimming and then to the matrix. but we stopped for subway first. we met up with Andrew, brian, allen and some other boys.
today- we woke up and feasted on crackers and jam. before my flight (sniff) we went to kipu falls which were so beautiful and amazing. but tes, who obviously isn't very hardcore to the max didn't jump in. lunch at this cute little place overlooking the water and surfers and then my flight.
overall: i had the best time ever. My visit made me realize how much I miss having the teitge's so close and how much I value tes as a friend.
tesla's bed was basically a brick so sleeping was not the most comfortable of events. i loved tesla's friends and felt like I could have been really close to all of them. we had subway far too much but, incredibly, I'm not sick of it in the slightest. i had fun making up new sayings like "hardcore to the max" or anything else with "to the max" added to the end and singing row row--row your boat, gently--down the stream and I get by with a little help from my friends etc. we just rock in general together (the i love me club reunited).
and now I'm home and facing the horrific task of school tomorrow. bleh.
