We sell them at work (GNC) and customers LOVE them. Since we have a paraffin wax version of them (the rest are beeswax) I bought some to try out. My ears feel clean, lol, its like I have a tunnel going from one ear to the other. It sucked out my brain! If you like cleaning out your ears with q-tips and feel like you need to go further in I'd recommend it. I don't think it does the things that a lot of people claim it does though.
I think they get confused and think that everything in that photo is what is removed from their own ear. One customer was talking about how it helped her mom's hearing improve. Another was a spiritual "These clean out my chakras" customer.
OMFG dork fun is my middle name! I've never even heard of these benchmarks, but I'm suddenly QUITE interested in hunting them myself...I checked out that site, and there are three of them right on our campus! it's funny, too, because the first two were established a long ass time ago, and their recorded location is "Iowa State Teacher's College," before we became UNI. gaaaahhh how cool is this?!
