i'm enjoying it, definitely - it's kind of a displacement activity for smoking. i do hope to figure out how to fit them all together like a jigsaw puzzle and make an afghan one day!

I like the fact that there is such variety of colour, yet the pile is harmonious. It'll make a lovely Afghan.

that's a blanket just waiting for you to learn the ancient art of crab stitch!
which is actually really easy.

it is true you know - want to quit, learn to knit!
and I can see increases, decreases, knits, purls, in fact everything but cables.
There's no reason not to actually make something other than coasters and facecloths now!

you might want to try socks,
they're quick, easy - but the problem being unless you happen to know someone who was in a terrible accident, they come in twos and the second one is really boring

they are all destined to become an afghan - a very eccentric afghan! thank you so much for noticing my skills *smiling* the ancient art of crab-stitch is next! (i have failed to master the raspberry stitch - mostly because i forget what i just did and i can't tell by looking *headdesk*)

crab stitch is a doddle, you just need a good crochet hook to make it super easy

I have a kick ass free pattern for totoro mittens, good fair isle starter project!

entrelac aka basket stitch involves LOTS of picking up stitches, stupid amounts of picked up stitches

my grandmother taught me when i was a kid, but i only picked it up again recently - i had help from a friend, and there are a lot of good videos online if you're a visual learner! keep trying!
