So leave, sweetheart. Better to be out, of your own volition than to let this guy decide your fate. I know that jobs are hard to come by, but you'd have more options for them if you leave, too. I mean, being fired under suspicion of stealing money (even if the guy is delusional) would make it hard even to get a fast food job.
Anyway, I'm sorry that you're stressed. OH! And if all else fails, you could always call Brandy and go to work at the Silver Dollar. ;P
yeah, i think i'm gonna stop by Murphys and see if Jeb will hire me. He came into the OB last weekend and recognized both kris and i. We also have a regular who works up at the Brick in salem. He says that they always need waitresses and they get killer tips. After making this much money, i really can't afford to go back to minimum wage and i'd rather work less hours than i am now. There is nothing worthwhile in albany anyway. but oh god, i really don't want to go back to working nights.
BTW... hahahaha on the stripper thing. while i've toyed with the idea, i couldn't do it.
Just, yeah, before you get fired and all, so you can say YOU walked out of a bad situation, and explain your piece. Or not, and make up some story. Control's the important thing
( ... )
I'm gonna jump on here and say... yeah, I would definitely quit even if it meant that I was unemployed for a little bit... if this guy is that much of a whack job that he was willing to accuse his own mother of stealing then good you need to get the heck away from him quick, like you said, all he has to do is mention to any potential employer that he fired your for "stealing", and you will be hard pressed to find another job... as far as the whole "quitting" thing goes, I would definitely do the whole walk out thing. I'd also make it obvious... something like getting on top of a table/counter at during a rush and announcing that "the manager of this establishment has been sexually harassing to us (i don't know if that's true, just the impression i got), and he has been taking money from the restaurant and trying to pin it on his employees, even his own mother. Don't eat here! Don't be fed by a crook!"... and then walk out.
