It was fucking hot. Even in the climate-controlled interior of her little suite, it was hot.
And there was no way Tina was going to get up and answer the stupid door when she'd just gotten comfortable, sprawled out carefully on the couch so that no part of her body was touching any other part.
These people all wanted to die. They had no idea how much of a temptation they presented. Of course, Tina was in no danger from him.
He remembered when she'd let him in before, distant and sleepy and... The memory filled him with an odd mix of fondness, nostalgia, and dread. He pushed it away and entered, eyebrows raised, smiling.
